Milk Frothing Pitcher
A stainless milk pitcher with internal measurement marks and a sharp spout, in 350 and 600 ml and four finishes.

accessories · MM038
A milk pitcher is a measuring tool as much as a jug. These are borosilicate glass with the scale printed on the wall — 30, 60, 90 ml up to 180 ml on the 90 ml cup, and further up on the larger sizes — so the milk goes into the jug by volume, not by eye. The handle is acacia, fixed through the wall at an angle, which keeps the hand away from the glass when the milk has just been steamed. Three shapes are on offer. The cylindrical cup comes fluted (fine vertical ribs) or with a wide rib, in clear, smoke grey or lake green, with one spout for a controlled pour or two spouts for a jug that gets used from either side. The cloud pitcher is a 180 ml bowl with a wide waist and no handle-reaching spout — for a single cappuccino it sits closer to the cup. The 350 ml jug is the odd one out and the one that earns its place behind a counter: a straight-walled measuring jug with a handle and a full scale on both sides, for batching milk or water. Ball-knob variants of the fluted and cloud shapes are for coffee stands where the jug also sits on the bar in view.

01
Steamed milk stretches by volume, so the only reliable way to hit a ratio is to read the jug. The marks run up the wall in 30 ml steps on the small cup, which is close enough to dose a flat white without weighing anything.

02
The acacia handle is set into the glass wall and points away from the body of the jug, so the fingers sit behind the hot glass rather than under it. Wood does not conduct heat like glass or steel, which is why the same handle appears across the whole range.

A 90 ml cup takes a single flat white's milk; the double-spout version is poured from either side of a two-group bar without turning the jug.
Steam into the jug, read the scale, pour — the printed millilitres remove the guesswork from a 1:2 ratio.
The narrow single spout on the 90 and 120 ml cups gives a finer line than a wide-lipped jug, which is what a rosetta needs at the start of the pour.
