Silicone Tamping Mat

The cheapest thing on a coffee bench and the one that saves the counter. Food-grade silicone, moulded with a recess for the tamper head so it sits square instead of rolling, and soft enough that knocking a portafilter against it does not chip the basket. Seven shapes cover the usual layouts: a flat pad for a straight run, angled and cornered versions for the edge of a worktop, a 7-shape that holds the tamper and the distribution tool at once, an 8-shape that stores the portafilter as well, and small round pads for a single tamper.
