Precision Filter Baskets and Blind Basket
The part that sets what a shot can do. These are 304 stainless baskets — a single for 8–12 g, a double for 16–20 g, and a straight-walled double for 20–28 g that suits bottomless portafilters. The blind baskets have no holes: fit one, add cleaner, and backflush the group instead of descaling it by hand. A small stainless tool lifts a basket out of the portafilter without levering at the rim with a screwdriver.

Three baskets, one rim
Single, double and blind, all 58 mm. Same outer diameter, so they drop into the same portafilter and only the dose changes.

What the numbers mean
A single takes 8–12 g, a double 16–20 g, and the straight-wall double 20–28 g — that last one is the one to use with a bottomless portafilter, where the wall has to be straight all the way down. The blind basket has no holes at all and is 16 mm deep against 24 mm.

Blind means backflush
No holes, so water and cleaner are forced back up through the group instead of out through the coffee. It is the difference between cleaning a machine and descaling it.

A tool, not a screwdriver
The removal tool hooks the basket lip and lifts it square. Baskets that have been levered out with a screwdriver end up with a bent rim, and a bent rim leaks.

Food-grade 304 stainless throughout — the supplier's material line and the spec sheet both say 304, not a plated steel.
