BG-315T Bean to Cup Drip Coffee Machine
A filter machine with the grinder built into the top: fill the hopper, press one button, and it grinds, brews and then holds the carafe at 75 °C for two hours.
countertop · MM009
A drip coffee maker rather than an espresso machine: water goes in the top, grounds go in the basket, and the pot fills by gravity. The 1.8 L carafe covers four to twelve cups, and the timer can be set 24 hours ahead so it starts before you are up. The hotplate holds the pot warm and switches itself off after two hours, so it does not cook the coffee down. The brew basket and the reusable mesh filter both lift out, and the panel counts brew cycles and flags when it is time to run a clean. Power draw is 950 W.

01
1.8 litres, which the supplier lays out as four to twelve cups depending on how strong you pour it. The drawing on this image also gives the footprint: 12 inches tall, 6.6 wide, 9.4 deep. That matters more than it sounds — a lot of filter machines are tall enough to foul a wall cabinet, and this one is not.

02
There is no paper to buy: the filter is a stainless mesh cone that lifts out with the basket. Both go in the sink, which is the difference between a machine that gets used every day and one that gets pushed to the back of the counter because cleaning it is a chore.

03
Set the start time the night before and it brews on its own. On a machine at this price the timer is usually the first thing that gets cut, and it is also the reason most people buy one — a filter machine without a timer only makes coffee when you are standing next to it.

04
The hotplate holds the carafe at temperature, and after two hours it cuts out on its own rather than stewing the pot all morning. The same panel counts brew cycles and lights a reminder when it is time to run a clean, which is the maintenance step most people skip until the coffee starts tasting of the last pot.

05
950 W gets a full carafe through in a normal brew cycle rather than the twenty minutes a cheap machine takes. The automatic pause is the other practical bit: lift the pot mid-brew to pour a cup and the flow stops instead of running onto the hotplate.
