Dosing Rings

Keep the grounds in while you work the bed

A dosing ring clips around the basket so the pile from the grinder stays inside it while you distribute. Two shapes matter. A low ring stops at the basket lip, which means the tamper passes straight through it — you can dose, stir and tamp without lifting anything off. A raised ring carries the wall another 30% higher, which gives room to work a WDT tool inside it but has to come off before tamping. Both are held by magnets in the flange rather than a clamp, so they centre themselves and leave both hands free. Buy by basket diameter first; the shape is decided by whether you want to tamp through it.
